The Journal of Phillip Grant - Nov 28

Denise and I flirted the night away at Dad's latest party.  Her new hair style is very cute.  So is she.

Dad was really happy.  He's finally earned his black belt.  He is a Master of the martial arts now.  He says that the time and stench were well worth the effort.

The Journal of Phillip Grant - Nov 24

Last time, I think I mentioned I wanted to chat Vanessa Bachelor, get to know her a bit.  Actually, she's a friend and I was rather hoping that I could build that up to something more.
It took me forever to finally meet up with her. We chatted for a bit then I tried compliments.

She mentioned Cecil.

I tried flirting a bit. She compared me with Cecil again and he came out ahead.

The Journal of Phillip Grant - Nov 20

While waiting to get into school today, I took some pics of the other kids around town. There are a lot of kids and teens in this town.  It can take us hours to get inside, I dread if we ever have a fire drill.  We'll never get out in time to make the firemen happy.

This is Shanita Hawke, oldest daughter of Hugo and Susie Pierce Hawke. She seems to be taking after her mom quite a bit.

Marcelo Pendragon - younger son of Jack and Celia.  The other boy is Marco Sekemoto, my cousin Chance's son.

I think the girl in front is Dayna Leman.  Which would make her grandparents, Thomas and Bebe Leman - Benjamin and Macy (Monroe) Lee.  All those red heads in the family and she has Bebe's hair colour.  Behind Dayna is Vanessa Bachelor - I think her mom was Bella Bachelor not quite positive who her dad was.  Behind them is Darren Pendragon - Marcelo's older brother.

This is Denise Wolff-Lessen.  Her mom is Suzette Wolff-Lessen.  I think that's the girl that was Uncle Henry's best friend as a kid but either Uncle Jack or Uncle Rick couldn't stand the sight of her.  Her dad is Mick Wolff-Lessen.  You know, I should get to know her a lot better.  Definitely cute.

Tyler Townsend got around a bit.  The girl in front is his oldest daughter Ashley Smith, he had a brief fling with someone called Rebecca Smith.  Behind is one of his two girls with Sierra Nevada Townsend, her name is Rosie.

Another of my cousins, Shelly Grant.  She looks so much like her evil mother Patricia. I wonder if her personality is anything like her mom. If so, I feel sorry for any guy that dates her. Poor Uncle Rick has not had a nice home life, they argue a lot. It even makes the papers.

Dad is still working on mastering his martial arts skill.  Maybe he should retire from athletics so he can concentrate on a few other things in life.  I don't think Dad has ever adjusted to being at the top of the tree in his career.  I know Granddad used to hold the occasional autograph session but I don't think Dad has yet.

This was so unfair.  I heard cousin Tate got married and was going to have a party.  So I turn up, see who comes to the party and find that Tate is leaving!  No one in the family has met his new wife yet, but we all hope for the best for him.

Pretty location, just on sunset.  There should have been a pretty girl here.  And I was stood up.  I wanted to chat to Vanessa and she promised to meet me.  She never actually came and waited until I was leaving before she rang to say she definitely wasn't coming.

The Pendragons were here.  Jack still works undercover, you never know what career clothes he'll be in next.  I think Darren is taking after his dad.  Celia Pendragon is now an elder.   She was lounging on one of the chairs.

Looks like someone forgot to check how old the leftovers were.
Nope, looks like two people got a bit carried away about their engagement.
Dad!  How long have you been reading this?
I read all of it boy.
[mutter] Damn.

Ok, Dad may have had a point.  I have another niece or nephew on the way.

The Journal of Phillip Grant - Nov 15

Hey, where's the family journal gone?
Don't worry Dad, I got you covered.
Since when?
Since I decided we need more parties.

Sheesh, what a fuss.  As far as I could tell, Dad never really liked the whole journal thing.  He only did it because Granddad asked him to.

At any rate, I've decided that we do need more parties around here.  With lots of girls if I get my say.  But I'll invite the relatives too, I asked Uncle Henry, Uncle Rick, Uncle Jack and Aunt Laura over for this one. But I got a couple of the girls over too, I'm hoping the parents are too busy to notice.

Everyone was having such a great time downstairs that only the family came up to eat.

Poor Aunt Laura.  Uncle Sam died earlier today and she's heartbroken.  Dad says they were teen sweethearts and that was a long time to know someone.

Dad had a chat to Aunt Laura, but I think it's time that will help her.

Some people really need a personal stylist. Look at what Marta and Wyatt are wearing to the pool. I'm not that into clothes but those [shudder]

My cousin Tate at least dresses for the pool.  He's a young adult now and has a girlfriend.  The family doesn't know much about her.

Now let me show you two of the cutest teens I know.

This is one of Tate's little sisters.  Tosha Grant has hit teen.  She's inherited Grandmom Rachel's hair, just like me.

Tosha's twin sister Keri.  Why do such pretty girls have to be my cousins?

Held a big beach party and invited almost every teen in town.  We all deserve FUN - too much homework around here.  I brought a radio, and we were dancing and drinking until dark.

This is Rick Walker, the second child of that couple oddly dressed at the pool.  He seems to do better at dressing then his dad.

Eric is still madly in love with Katie.

She's inappropriate and hot-headed...he may have an interesting future.

As I say, madly in love.  They are now engaged and Eric think they might have gotten just a little carried away with the celebration.

The Journal of Indiana Grant - Nov 10

Eric and Katie are quite the item these days.  The boy has even had her move in.  They don't seem to be in a hurry to get engaged, married or start on those grandchildren yet.

We let Phillip cook breakfast.  It wasn't very good but better than starving, I suppose.
Dad!
Waffles are not meant to be extra crispy boy.  Remember girls love it when the man cooks for them.

We ran across Celia and Jack Pendragon's boys the other day.  Darren with the brown hair.

And their toddler Marcelo, who is trying to hide from the camera.  He's grown to child since this picture was taken.

The women in Henry's life - his wife Cindy and their daughter Callie.  Once Henry settled with
Cindy, there was no looking back for him.  But we heard that he never missed a single child support payment for Darius.

We decided on a small family holiday to Egypt.  Most of the holiday we were all doing separate things.  Phillip learned to use a camera and did some fishing.  Eric and Katie did some fishing and a bit of tomb hunting.

Judy spent quite a lot of time in one tomb.  Not a good place to have a moment of absent-mindedness.

The tomb hadn't been explored by Mum or Dad so Judy got to be the  first in the family to tread here.

And zapped here.

Judy doesn't like tombs much.  She doesn't like traps and she hates water.  Not a good thing when exploring.

Eric managed to retrieve a small artifact for a local.

And so did I.  Finally on Visa 1 for Egypt.

Judy and I really just aren't the tomb raider type.  Not like Mum and Dad.  We are more home bodies, enjoying the comforts of our lovely house.

We've set the boys to gardening.  Eric wants to be a real scientist one day so he needs gardening skills.  Phillip, well, we don't know what he's going to want in life.  In the meantime, he can build useful skills too.

Judy loves the board breaker.  Her favorite hobby is smashing boards.  And she is damned good at it too.

The Journal of Indiana Grant - Nov 6

Dad still comes out at night sometimes. I haven't quite decided what to do...

Kathy and her Malcolm get along very nicely. It's good to see.

While they were otherwise occupied, I got a chance to play with the grandson.

And Eric came home from getting a job to change his nephew's dirty diaper. Good boy that.

Malcolm wanted to learn some martial arts so I helped him along. He had a new belt by the time we were done.

Then Kathy and Malcolm moved out. We bought them a nice little two bedroom house in town. Must invite them all over soon.

Chance's boy Marco. He has Mum's hair colour.

Our grandson Glen as a toddler.

Dad! Why are you insisting on the hat?
Hey, I let you keep the hair. But the heir to the house has to have his hat.

I have a feeling that it won't be long until we have another daughter-in-law.

The triplets had their birthdays.
Henry as an elder.

Jack as an elder.

Rick as an elder. His wife has declared him to be her nemesis and yet they still are married and living together. Weird.
